About me.

Whether it’s a transition, grief, depression or just feeling stuck or ungrounded, therapy can be a useful way to cope with life stressors. Each person brings their own story into the room, and I tailor my approach accordingly. By combining a mindfulness-based and cognitive behavioral approach, I can help you learn to make gentle shifts in order to be present and develop a stronger sense of self and purpose.

The mind-body connection is an integral part of what we will do, which is rooted in neuroscience research. I am trained in mindfulness-based techniques that support healing and wellness. We can explore how understanding and changing neural pathways supports a greater sense of mental wellbeing and helps you be more present. With a grounded and intuitive energy, I will be with you where you are, and guide you to make shifts along the way. I have also created a Mindful Athlete module to help athletes bring their mental training and development to the next level.

My approach.

My approach is a collaborative process that is nonjudgemental, practical and understanding. Together, we will identify and address life stressors and gain insight into the mind-body connection as well as thought and behavioral patterns. Being vulnerable is hard - sometimes therapy might feel like a lot - but it’s really a place for you to just be yourself and learn more about who you are.

In our time together you may:

learn about neuroplasticity

uncover how food affects our moods

develop stress tolerance

build effective coping skills

learn how to breath better and

understand and shift patterns.

I have experience working in a variety of areas, including illness, grief, depression, anxiety, sport performance and life changes.

We will develop an approach that works for you, and it can be short or long term. Learn how to accept and reframe thoughts and feelings without judgement to live in a more grounded, connected and balanced way.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
